tried the kneadable eraser. i feel like an expert already. hahaha jk. but this quality is so fucked up. i don’t have the scanner anymore. the owner took it back =(. all i have is my camera phone. how do you guys take pictures of your sketches? do u use a light box or something? i’m so not happy with this… i will try making an improvised light box and see how it can help… . p.s i wanna be a master portraitist someday.

A commissioned work a friend asked me to draw the founder of their college. Of course i was hesitant at first because she is an important figure and i;m no famous artist but my friend pleaded like there’s no tomorrow… .after all, he is my friend. i am thankful for all of the graces given to me and for all of the opportunities and of course for all of the commissions but sometimes i wish i could just say NO. But i’m not raising the damn white flag. i can do this…besides, i need all the exposure i can get, right? =) i’ll just treat this as a practice… . a commissioned practice.

will be leaving the city today…won’t be back til next week (i think). i will try to find a way to get on line when i get there.

i won’t be able to work on my coffee painting cuz i won’t bring it with me but i will bring my moleskine and my other sketchpad just in case i find interesting subjects to sketch.

plus, i will work on this again

anyway, i just want to tell you all that you should check out Blackhummingbird’s and thankgoditsanday’s tumblelogs. such amazing artists.

just a quick sketch of what i;m planning to paint on a shirt. i have a new customer. she wants me to make her plain white shirt look artsy. she wanted “orange-y” and “vintage” but i have incorporated “animal kingdom” haha…so i’m planning to give this a water-color effect. but i have troubles picking other colors…orange is gonna be there, for sure but what other colors go well with it?
